Anthony’s Story
Anthony, a disabled veteran who served our country from 1972 to 1976, has spent decades helping others through suicide prevention and elder care advocacy.
After suffering a stroke that affected his memory
and mobility, he found himself struggling to stay warm. Fueling Kindness delivered emergency heating oil to his home, ensuring that this lifelong
caregiver finally received the care he deserved.
David’s Story
David faced unimaginable loss when his wife passed
away from cancer. Soon after, he was diagnosed with cancer himself, lost his job, and became the fulltime caregiver for his autistic daughter.
During one of the coldest winters, Fueling Kindness
provided emergency heating oil to help keep their
home warm and bring comfort during one of the
darkest times in their lives.

Fueling Kindness, is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit powered by Tragar Home Services
We provide a one-time gift of up to 150 gallons of emergency heating oil to Long Island households in crisis, specifically those who don’t qualify for assistance programs but are still in urgent need. We respond swiftly, without the delays of traditional aid programs, delivering comfort when it’s needed most.
